Hi everyone!
The week started with an opening ceremony for the whole LAPASSION project and we also had music presentation from Felipe Valoz Jr. included, which gave a nice insight to Brazilian culture from a foreigners perspective. After the ceremony was done we had some brunch prepared for us and some spare time just to hang out and get to know each other.
In the afternoon we got a small tour of the campus just to get a better feel of the place. The day ended to us finding out our teams and then doing some team building exercises such as treasure hunt around the campus and a cultural presentation performed by the whole team. These all gave a good starting point to the whole project and just to start bonding with the team mates. Unfortunately Max didn't make it on this day yet. /Juuso
On Tuesday we firstly got to know our challenges, I personally love the theme, because it is something that I have aways thought about. After that, they presented us our schedule for the ten weeks, it was clarifying, and we find out that on one of the holidays we are going on a travel, all together, I am sure it is gonna be very nice! /Gustavo
On Wednesday our day in the program start with a presentation of the participant of LAPASSION@Uberaba, Gabriel, who also participate in this stage. He talked a little about his experience and how the LAPASSION changer your life. Then, in our team time, we edited the blog and tooker the opportunity to get to know each other. Where the idea of doing an interview with the residents of Goiânia, to understand your needs and try to target the solution to the challenge. Each group member did 4/5 questions for the interview and we introduce each other. At the afternoon, the counterpart of Senador Canedo was presented, where are the challenges of groups 2 and 3. In workshop about Design Thinking with Ravel, where did he introduce us Design Thinking, what is it, how it works and for what you serve. Was proposed for the group to report 10 challenges that the theme brings. It was a great day! /Karlla
On Thursday our day started with monitors discussing with our group. Some important points that they told us were:
- Think about how can you motivate people to do physical exercise
- Need be something can't not be stoned in the future
-The solution need be something economic
-The place where we will use the solution needs to be a busy place
After the lunch we dance with the other groups, this was important to share different cultures.
Later our group share the learning contract each other and this was a Wonderfull experience to know better everyone in the group about past, present and goals for the future.
The last active we did was choose the best questions for the interview,
In the night we dinner together Brazilian food prepare for IFG students! /. Danielle
On Friday the day start with an hour of team work. We created an informed consent and we re-write the questionary in the computer so we could print it later. We talk about when we are going to start our field work and we decided that next Tuesday would be a great day. However, we are waiting for Giovanna to give us the information of parks and exercises machines places, so we can decide where to go first. Further, we take our profile pictures for the blog and Juuso edited for us! In the afternoon, we had a design thinking workshop in which we practice how to do "Personas" (We will explain later what is a persona, so don't worry if you don't understand). I think, that was a good day in which we started "putting in paper" our work. See you next week! /Max
